President Donald Trump has once again shown his unwavering support for the brave men and women serving in the United States military. As the government shutdown enters its fifth day, the President has made it his top priority to ensure that these service members are taken care of.

In a recent address, President Trump declared that he would get “every last penny” for the military personnel affected by the shutdown. This statement comes as a reassurance to the thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who are currently facing uncertainty due to the government’s temporary closure.

The President’s commitment to getting the service members “every last penny” is a testament to his deep respect and appreciation for their sacrifices. These individuals put their lives on the line every day to protect our nation and its citizens. They deserve nothing less than our full support and gratitude.

The government shutdown, which began on December 22nd, has left many military families wondering how they will make ends meet without their regular paychecks. But President Trump’s promise to ensure that they receive their full pay shows his dedication to taking care of those who serve our country.

The shutdown has already caused some concern among military families, with many worried about how they will support their loved ones while they are deployed or stationed overseas. The President’s pledge to get them “every last penny” is a clear message that their well-being is of utmost importance to him.

This is not the first time President Trump has shown his support for the military during a government shutdown. In January of 2018, during a three-day shutdown, the President signed a bill that ensured all military personnel would continue to receive their pay. This move was praised by many and showed his unwavering commitment to our service members.

Not only is the President ensuring that the military personnel will receive their pay during the shutdown, but he has also taken steps to keep national parks and memorials open for veterans and their families. This gesture shows his understanding of the sacrifices made by our veterans and his desire to honor their service.

The President’s vow to get service members “every last penny” is also a reflection of his determination to secure funding for the border wall. As negotiations continue, President Trump has made it clear that the safety and security of our nation are his top priorities. And the border wall plays a significant role in achieving that.

While some may criticize the President’s stance on the border wall, it cannot be denied that he is putting the well-being of our service members first. The government shutdown is a temporary inconvenience, but the safety and security of our nation are of paramount importance.

In conclusion, President Trump’s promise to get service members “every last penny” during the government shutdown is a testament to his strong leadership and unwavering support for the military. His actions demonstrate his deep respect for those who serve and his dedication to ensuring their well-being. As negotiations continue, let us all show our support for our service members and trust that President Trump will deliver on his promise to get them “every last penny.”
