On Monday, Rep. Jim Jordan appeared on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle” to discuss the recent news of former President Joe Biden’s advanced cancer diagnosis. Jordan, who serves as the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, argued that the American people should not be surprised by this diagnosis, given the left’s track record of deception and dishonesty over the past several years.
Jordan began by acknowledging that cancer is a devastating disease that affects millions of Americans every year. He expressed his sympathy for Biden and his family, as well as his hope for a full recovery. However, he also noted that the timing of this diagnosis is raising some eyebrows.
“Let’s not forget, this is the same party that lied to us about Biden’s mental state during the 2020 election,” Jordan said. “They told us he was perfectly fit to serve as President, despite clear evidence to the contrary. And now, we’re supposed to believe that this same man, who couldn’t string together a coherent sentence just a few months ago, is suddenly in the early stages of advanced cancer?”
Jordan went on to point out the long list of lies and cover-ups that have plagued the left in recent years, from the Russia collusion hoax to the impeachment charade. He argued that these tactics are nothing new for the Democrats, who will stop at nothing to push their radical agenda.
“It’s no surprise that they would try to hide the truth about Biden’s health, just like they’ve tried to hide the truth about so many other things,” Jordan stated. “They have no qualms about deceiving the American people if it means achieving their political goals.”
But the most concerning part of this situation, according to Jordan, is the media’s complicity in the left’s deception. He called out the mainstream media for their biased coverage of Biden’s health during the election, and their continued reluctance to report on the truth about his current condition.
“The media played a crucial role in keeping Biden’s mental state under wraps during the election,” Jordan asserted. “They refused to ask tough questions or report on any of the evidence that showed he was not fit to be President. And now, they’re following the same playbook by downplaying the severity of his cancer.”
Jordan also pointed out the hypocrisy of the left, who have been quick to criticize former President Trump’s health and mental state in the past. He argued that if Trump had been diagnosed with advanced cancer just months after being elected, the media and Democrats would have been eager to use it against him.
“But when it’s their guy, suddenly they want to give him the benefit of the doubt,” Jordan said. “It’s clear that the left and their allies in the media have one set of rules for Republicans and another for Democrats. And it’s time for the American people to see through their lies and hold them accountable.”
In conclusion, Jordan urged the American people not to be surprised by the left’s deception regarding Biden’s health.
