Woman, 74, goes missing in Cardiff

The community of Lakewood is on high alert after 74-year-old Janet Trinick was reported missing by her family. Police are deeply concerned for her safety and are calling on the public to assist in locating her.

Mrs. Trinick was last seen on Monday afternoon, when she left her home to run errands. Her family became worried when she did not return home later that day as planned. After searching the local area, they couldn’t find her and immediately contacted the police.

According to her family, Mrs. Trinick suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and may have become disoriented while out. This has increased fears for her well-being and has sparked an urgent search to find her as soon as possible.

The authorities have been conducting a thorough search of the surrounding neighborhoods, parks, and shopping centers, but so far have not been able to locate her. They have also reached out to nearby hospitals, retirement homes and public transportation services in the hopes of finding any leads.

Meanwhile, the community of Lakewood has rallied together to help in any way they can. Flyers have been distributed and shared on social media, and many have volunteered to join the search efforts. Everyone is determined to find Mrs. Trinick and bring her back to her family safely.

Described as a kind and gentle soul, Mrs. Trinick is well-known and loved by her neighbors. She has been a resident of Lakewood for over 50 years and has always been an active member of the community. Her sudden disappearance has left everyone in shock and disbelief.

Her daughter, Rachel, tearfully pleaded for her mother’s safe return, saying, “We miss her dearly and just want her back home where she belongs. Please, if anyone has seen her or has any information, please come forward. We are incredibly worried about her.”

The police are also asking anyone with information to come forward and assist in the search. They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen Mrs. Trinick on Monday afternoon or has any knowledge of her whereabouts since then.

As the search continues, the community remains hopeful that Mrs. Trinick will be found safe and sound. The outpouring of support and love for her and her family is a testament to the strength of this tight-knit community. It is in times like these that we truly see the kindness and compassion of our neighbors, and it gives us hope for a positive outcome.

Janet Trinick is described as 5’4”, with short grey hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue blouse and black pants. If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact the Lakewood Police Department immediately.

Let us all keep Mrs. Trinick and her family in our thoughts and prayers as we hope for her safe return. We must come together as a community to ensure that she is found and brought back home to her loved ones.
