Iran Dismisses Uprising as ‘Israeli Plot,’ Claims Protests Under Control

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has dismissed the recent nationwide uprising against the regime as an “Israeli plot” and claimed that the protests were carried out by “ISIS-style terrorist operations.” In a statement on Wednesday, Araghchi declared that the regime has successfully defeated these “terrorists” after three days of intense fighting.

The protests, which began on Friday, were sparked by a sudden increase in fuel prices and quickly spread to over 100 cities across Iran. The Iranian people, who have been struggling with economic hardships and government corruption, took to the streets to voice their frustration and demand change.

However, the Iranian regime has refused to acknowledge the legitimate grievances of its people and instead, has resorted to blaming external forces for the uprising. Araghchi’s statement is just the latest in a series of attempts by the regime to discredit the protests and divert attention away from the real issues at hand.

By claiming that the protests were an “Israeli plot,” the Iranian regime is trying to paint the uprising as a foreign-backed conspiracy rather than a genuine expression of the people’s discontent. This tactic is not new for the regime, as it has often used the “enemy” narrative to suppress dissent and maintain its grip on power.

But the reality is that the Iranian people have had enough. They are tired of living under a regime that prioritizes its own interests over the well-being of its citizens. The recent fuel price hike was just the tipping point for a population that has been struggling to make ends meet for years.

The regime’s response to the protests has been brutal, with reports of security forces using live ammunition and tear gas against unarmed civilians. The internet has also been shut down in an attempt to prevent the spread of information and suppress the voices of the people.

Despite these efforts, the Iranian people have shown incredible resilience and determination in their fight for a better future. They have braved the streets, risking their lives to demand change and hold their government accountable.

The regime’s claim of defeating “terrorists” is not only false but also insulting to the brave men and women who have peacefully protested for their rights. The Iranian people are not terrorists, they are ordinary citizens who want a better life for themselves and their families.

It is time for the Iranian regime to listen to its people and address their legitimate concerns. The protests are not an “Israeli plot,” they are a wake-up call for the regime to start prioritizing the needs of its people. The Iranian people deserve a government that works for them, not against them.

In the face of adversity, the Iranian people have shown incredible unity and determination. They have proven that they will not be silenced or intimidated by the regime’s tactics. The world is watching, and it is time for the international community to stand with the people of Iran in their fight for freedom and democracy.

The Iranian regime may try to dismiss the protests as an “Israeli plot,” but the truth is that the people of Iran have taken matters into their own hands and are demanding change. It is time for the regime to listen to its people and take meaningful steps towards addressing their grievances.

The international community must also hold the Iranian regime accountable for its actions and support the people of Iran in their struggle for a better future. The time for change in Iran is now, and the world must stand in solidarity with the Iranian people in their quest for a free and democratic society.
