The National Archives Welcomes New Directors

We are thrilled to announce that Tobi Adetimilehin has been appointed as the new Finance Director of The National Archives. She officially began her term on December 8, 2025, and will lead both the Finance and Performance teams. Tobi brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge, making her an exceptional addition to our organization.

Tobi is no stranger to the world of finance. In fact, she has been in the field for over 15 years, holding various roles and excelling in each of them. Most recently, she served as the Deputy Director Finance lead for Strategic Programmes and the Future Combat Air System Programme at the Ministry of Defence. Her exceptional leadership and impressive financial management skills have made her stand out in her field.

As the new Finance Director, Tobi will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial affairs of The National Archives. This includes budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring that our financial performance is in line with our goals and objectives. She will also be working closely with our Performance team to ensure that we are meeting our targets and continuously improving our services.

We have no doubt that Tobi will excel in her new role and bring fresh perspectives to our organization. Her extensive experience and expertise will be invaluable in driving our organization forward and achieving even greater success.
