National Guard Stays in Los Angeles as Judge Claims ‘Posse Comitatus’ Law Violation

President Donald Trump’s administration is standing strong against a federal judge in California who is trying to impede the National Guard’s protection of ICE operations. Despite the judge’s claims of a violation of the Posse Comitatus law, the National Guard will remain in Los Angeles to support ICE in their crucial mission.

Since President Trump took office, he has made it a top priority to enforce our nation’s immigration laws and secure our borders. The men and women of ICE have been working tirelessly to carry out this mission, often facing dangerous and difficult situations. It is their duty to protect our country and its citizens, and they deserve our utmost respect and support.

However, there have been numerous attempts to obstruct ICE’s operations, including the recent ruling by Judge Haywood Gilliam Jr. in California. The judge has ordered the National Guard to withdraw from their duties of protecting ICE facilities, claiming that their presence violates the Posse Comitatus law which prohibits the use of military forces for domestic law enforcement.

But President Trump’s deputies are not backing down. They have made it clear that the National Guard’s presence in Los Angeles is crucial for the safety and security of ICE operations. The National Guard is not engaging in any law enforcement activities, but rather providing much-needed support to ICE agents who are facing increasing threats and attacks.

The Posse Comitatus law was put in place to prevent the military from being used as a police force, but in this case, the National Guard is not acting as law enforcement. They are simply providing additional security measures to ensure the safety of ICE agents and the facilities they operate in. This is a necessary and lawful action, and the Trump administration stands by it.

The decision to keep the National Guard in Los Angeles has been met with praise from many, including ICE officials. They have expressed their gratitude for the support and protection provided by the National Guard, which allows them to carry out their duties without fear for their safety. This is especially important in light of recent attacks on ICE facilities and personnel.

Furthermore, the National Guard’s presence in Los Angeles is not only beneficial for ICE, but also for the community. They are working closely with local law enforcement to maintain order and ensure the safety of all residents. This is a prime example of the National Guard’s important role in supporting our nation’s law enforcement agencies.

It is unfortunate that Judge Gilliam Jr. has chosen to prioritize his political agenda over the safety and security of our nation. The National Guard’s assistance is crucial in upholding our immigration laws and protecting our borders. President Trump’s administration will continue to fight against any attempts to hinder their efforts.

In the face of this challenge, the Trump administration remains steadfast in their commitment to enforcing our immigration laws and protecting our country. The National Guard’s presence in Los Angeles is a necessary measure to ensure the safety and security of ICE operations. We must support our law enforcement agencies and the brave men and women who risk their lives every day to protect our nation. Let us stand together in solidarity and support the National Guard’s crucial role in this mission.
