Arrest made after boy, 12, ‘flung to his death’ after e-bike struck park roundabout

Tragedy struck on Friday evening when 12-year-old Logan Carter lost his life in a horrific accident. The young boy was riding his bike on a roundabout when it was allegedly struck by the wheels of an e-bike, leading to his untimely death. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning the loss of a bright and promising young life.

Logan Carter was a beloved member of the community, known for his infectious smile and kind heart. He was a student at the local middle school and was loved by his classmates and teachers alike. His parents, John and Sarah Carter, described him as a happy and energetic boy who loved spending time outdoors, especially riding his bike.

According to witnesses, Logan was riding his bike on the roundabout near his home when an e-bike, allegedly being ridden at high speed, collided with him. The impact was so severe that Logan was thrown off his bike and suffered fatal injuries. The e-bike rider, whose identity has not been revealed, fled the scene immediately after the accident.

Emergency services were called to the scene, but unfortunately, they were unable to save Logan’s life. The young boy was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. The news of his death has left the community in shock and disbelief. Many have taken to social media to express their condolences and share fond memories of Logan.

The incident has also raised concerns about the safety of e-bikes and the need for stricter regulations. E-bikes, which are powered by an electric motor, have become increasingly popular in recent years. However, their speed and lack of proper regulations have led to several accidents, some of which have been fatal.

Logan’s parents are devastated by the loss of their son and are calling for justice to be served. They believe that the e-bike rider should be held accountable for their reckless actions, which led to the death of their son. They also hope that this tragic incident will serve as a wake-up call for authorities to implement stricter regulations for e-bikes.

The community has come together to support the Carter family during this difficult time. A candlelight vigil was held in Logan’s memory, and a fundraiser has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses. The outpouring of love and support from the community is a testament to the impact that Logan had on those around him.

Logan’s death is a tragic reminder of how fragile life can be and the importance of road safety. It is a heartbreaking loss for his family, friends, and the entire community. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

As we mourn the loss of Logan, let us also remember to cherish our loved ones and hold them close. Let us also strive for safer roads and stricter regulations to prevent such tragedies from happening in the future. Logan may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Logan Carter.
