Vance on Deportation Numbers: We Have to Secure Border First, Deportations Weren’t Funded, There Is Some Progress

During an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” Vice President JD Vance addressed the issue of deportation numbers and the progress being made in securing the border. He stated that while the pace of deportations may be behind schedule, there are valid reasons for this and progress is still being made.

Vance began by acknowledging the importance of securing the border and the need to address the issue of illegal immigration. He emphasized that the first step in addressing this issue is to secure the border, and that the Biden administration has not done enough in this regard.

He then went on to address the issue of deportation numbers, which have been a topic of concern for many. Vance pointed out that the pace of deportations may be behind schedule, but this is not due to a lack of effort or commitment. He stated that the main reason for this is the lack of funding for deportations.

Vance explained that while there is some progress being made in terms of deportations, the process has been hindered by a lack of resources. He highlighted the fact that the Biden administration has not allocated enough funds for deportations, making it difficult to meet the target of deporting 12 million people.

However, despite these challenges, Vance remained optimistic and highlighted the progress that has been made so far. He pointed out that there has been an increase in the number of deportations compared to the previous administration. This is a positive sign and shows that efforts are being made to address the issue of illegal immigration.

Vance also emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach to addressing the issue of illegal immigration. He stated that securing the border and increasing deportations are just one aspect of the solution. He called for a more holistic approach that includes addressing the root causes of illegal immigration, such as poverty and violence in other countries.

In addition, Vance also addressed the issue of asylum seekers and the backlog of cases at the border. He stated that the Biden administration needs to do more to address this issue and ensure that those who are genuinely seeking asylum are given a fair and timely hearing.

Vance’s remarks on the issue of deportation numbers highlight the challenges that the Biden administration is facing in addressing the issue of illegal immigration. However, his positive outlook and emphasis on the progress being made show that there is still hope for a solution.

It is clear that the issue of illegal immigration is a complex one that requires a comprehensive approach. The Biden administration must not only focus on securing the border and increasing deportations but also address the root causes of illegal immigration. This will require adequate funding and resources, which must be a priority for the administration.

In conclusion, Vice President JD Vance’s comments on the pace of deportations and the need to secure the border are a reminder that there is still much work to be done in addressing the issue of illegal immigration. While the pace of deportations may be behind schedule, there is still progress being made, and with a comprehensive approach, we can find a solution to this complex issue. The Biden administration must prioritize this issue and allocate the necessary resources to effectively address it.
